Hi there,
Is there anyone out there on the I O W who wants to have a meet up. There are a few of us who already meet up and are at various stages of the visa process.
If you are interested please PM me.
Look forward to hearing from all of you guys.
Nicky

From: That, there, that's not my post count... nothing to see here, move along.

I know its not much help but we spend a lot of time in Seaview, love the place, now if we could just get it pushed a little further away from the UK it would be a little better.

Does the Isle of Wight bring back some happy memories for you? Carefree, no hastle
, long days on the beach........
There must be some IOWers out there up for a meet up? I need to reduce my alchol cabinet as I can't take it with me. OH is a TeeTotaler so it would be rude to drink alone.

Seaview!!!!! I spent all my childhood holidays at Seaview. I can still remember going to Puckpool Park, and sitting outside The Battery Hotel waiting for my dad to get me a bottle of coke!!!

Sorry I'm on the mainland as much as your drinks cupboard appeals.
I have a distant cousin on the IOW who is 6'4" and has changed his name by deed poll to Elvis. His wife changed her name to Priscilla but they have split up. I dare say you know of him! LOL.

Good luck with your move!

Just left!!! We lived in Cowes but left the Island (via Yarmouth, our fav crossing) on Friday 14th. House not quite sold, but close.
If we had (
) to come back to the UK it would the Island. Not as 'busy' and manic as the mainland. There's quite a few folk from IOW leaving UK; anyone going to Canberra?
