Inappropriate At a Funeral???

Sometimes circumstances dictate that someone can't get somewhere they would really like to be - if living in the modern world means that they can be there virtually, who are you to tell them they didn't make enough of an effort so too bad. Imagine being the immigrants that came here in the 50's and 60's who were unable to even phone their family's in their home country, never mind attend weddings and funerals - do you think they would poo poo being able that one last look at the loved ones they never got to see again after hopping on that boat or plane.

I plan on faking my own death if I'm aware that the day is coming and watching to see who turns up and what goes on. It's such a shame that we don't get to see all that love and sometimes hypocrisy.
