I am sorry to announce that I Lost a precious mouthful of single malt whiskey last night...

There has been a death in the Family.... its a long story...

MIL has suggested me gathering us all together here in Australia and Skyping the funeral service ...live....

If it's a warm day, you could Skype while sitting outside in your bikini. Would that make in any more appropriate?

I think it would be inappropriate for someone to have their computer out at a funeral so they can skype it to you.

For a second I thought it might be MIL who had gone, but then you wouldn't waste good whisky- you'd be too busy partying to come on here!

My family specialises in inappropriate funeral behaviour but I think this would be a stretch, even for us!

We could skype from the beach .... With an Esky full of beer.... And yell Gooday Cobba....

As for Skyping? I can't get HIM to talk to her on the phone ...skype doesn't stand a cat in Hells chance.... Under ANY circumstances

People do it all the time with weddings and funerals these days, it's quite accepted practice.

Yep, it's fine - people video funerals, there's no difference to having an iPad set up so family can watch it if they can't make it. My kids attended by nieces wedding via Skype last year.
