Personally, the whole concept seems a bit weird.

If it was the only way I could "attend" and the immediate family weren't upset by it and it could be done discretely - then I really don't see the problem.

Don't see the issue with it really, obviously it would always be best to be there but if you can't then it's the next best option.

I had my wedding steamed live via web cam none of the guests that attened were aware until I told them afterwards, I hoped they weren't bitching about anyone as they would have been heard on the link up luckily they'd all behaved themselves!

Or perhaps can't afford the thousands of dollars it would cost to get there?
