the trick is to invite the boss out with you on the understanding that you'll buy his drinks if he signs your timesheet
i regularly worked 8 till 8 as a contractor

I'll probably get slated for it but.... I just got myself an interview for next week!! So therefore anyone who can't get an interview must just not be trying hard enough. ;)

OK... I know I will probably get slated for this but yes they came to my house, where I had not bothered to get out of bed yet as I was that confident, and they woke me up and shoved an employment offer in my face for me to sign. Then I went back to sleep. I start next month.
As I said, anyone who can't manage that is just not making the effort.

(?! But I actually really do have an interview!)

 indeed! May as well celebrate this achievement, as if I wait until I haven't got the job then celebrating would not be so much fun. Also, if I have a dozen interviews before one pays off, that would be 12x:beer:!

I'll probably get slated for it, but single Sydney women are the most ignorant, shallow and superficial bunch of complete bit***s I have ever had the misfortune of encountering...

Not that I'm bitter obviously...

I'm sure there's an equation I could use to model that somehow...
