I had to think about the question quite hard. And I can't remember what I said last time.

I would stay in Australia, get a unit in the inner East, and maybe a bigger property here.
And then spend time in London, California, parts of France and Luxembourg, especially summer. Can I have all those? California would just be for kicks, I could not spend a lot of time there.
Disagree- it's nothing more than Economics. The reality for many is that Australia ticked all the boxes in regards to work, house, and a bit of the old lifestyle. Inject a few million pounds and all of a sudden doors open back in the old country for some.

Personally I would like to live in either south Devon or north Britanny either side of the Channel Islands. I've only been to either area on holidays but I do like the climate and to be honest the people both sides. Pity there is shag all well paid work for me in those areas. Ah well wait for the pension I guess

This thread has gone well eh? I like living just where I am, the Coast up here is fabulous! Failing that I'd live in the South of France but only if I didn't have to work!
