Utter wank evening, today was fine but tonight was shattered by a phone call that cancer is yet again going to affect my family.
I truly know what people mean when they say that the room was spinning and the dire need to stamp your feet and say 'it is not fair' and the distance may as well be a million miles away and a million pounds to get there.

I am wasting the day away... It's either that or housework...
Have been asked to do some work in palliative care... And have had to say no....
Rationale is that I have a full-time job and I have enough on my plate.. I give a lot of my very limited time to various good causes and support other causesfinancially... But at some point you just have to draw a line and say no...
And now I feel like a bit of a heel about it.

Had a lovely afternoon in Belair Conservation Park. Kids blew off some steam at the adventure park then we went for a nice long hike and saw 6 wild koalas
Just got back and the chicken for the fajitas hasn't defrosted so we're having chicken nuggets and chips for tea. oh and just remembered I need to go out and get some milk. Bugger
