Re: How has your day been?
Got 3 questions wrong in my Citizenship test - (well I did always find governmental stuff boring.)
Main thing is I passed and so did Mr PP, met up with Dorothy for a coffee afterwards which was nice, then had lunch by our local beach cafe.
Now totally knackered so having a lie down. Just have to wait for a date for the ceremony now - hopefully not too long but have been warned it might be.

Told the young spark last night that I had accepted an offer on the house - the words lead and balloon would be a good fit for his reaction. When we got back from Adelaide last year he was really positive but now he's really scared and I guess its affecting me too.

Had DD7 up for the last hour throwing up in spectacular style. So much for spending the afternoon altering a 'loud' shirt to fit her for Loud Shirt Day at school tomorrow!!! Lime green with blue flowers! Actually, maybe that's what made her throw up!!!

Re: How has your day been?
had enough now - been at this all flipping day, reconciling stuff
2 visa statements done without issue, however the bank statement is another matter
The partnership broke up a month ago, the BAS is due in 10 days, there are ALLSORTS of reimbursements back and forth so they are both equal, and things just aren't adding up
SO - I am giving up for tonight and going to bed, cos no matter how i look at it, it's too late and I'm too tired
Will try it again tomorrow
Hope everyone has a great Friday

Re: How has your day been?
I had a 'moment' this morning when I was in a traffic queue and noticed how gorgeous the ocean/beach was looking today - gangs of parrots (yes, in leather jackets, smoking fags and everything) were on the grass.
Beautiful morning and although my day has only just started, I am sure it is going to be very nice.

Tis a gorgeous day here. Sat outside doing the job hunting thing
The expo was a bit of a let down. Aimed at school leavers and disadvantaged groups. Lots of training opportunities, if I was any of the above. Saw 3 of my type of jobs advertised. Went to enquire, and they were only for disabled/indigenous. Oh well, put it down to experience. Back to good ol' Seek etc.
Still got an appt next week and about to arrange another one

Well doing well considering almost no sleep last night! DD's gastro seems to have abated but she is understandably washed out and lethargic. All laundry done, including all bedding so feeling positive.
Also, picked up OH's birthday present. A $285 watch on special for $169. Sorted.
And a phone call from Godfreys to say that they are replacing my broken $199-almost-two-years-ago Wertheim steam mop with a brand new $279 Hoover steam mop. Warranty was due to expire in January so I am a much happy bunny!!!!!
Of course, I have been without a mop for the past 2 weeks so have a lot of cleaning to do now!
Coffee first, I think!
