Not in a union.
Boss called and told me to take time off sick until I go. Have to get a certificate from the doctor- $60. Not sure I have enough hours accrued to cover it, so even if I didn't resign I'd still not get paid. Workers comp doesn't cover it. Director says she has no money to cover it. No way I can have light duties, as with children there are none.

I was asked to e-mail my forms to director so I did. No way back now.

I'll have to go in to collect my things- director has my degree, PGCE and marriage certificates. I'll have to do it when parents are not around. Also got to retrieve my mug and teabags.

Clearing your desk is crap mate... One of the joys of nursing in MOST posts is not having a desk to clear LOL

Went in yesterday to clear my stuff, and take choccies for the staff who are covering for me. The little girl who cries all the time saw me, and her face lit up with the biggest smile and she jumped up and down calling my name. Awwww. I'm going to miss the kiddies in a funny way. Amazing how many smiled or came to talk to me.
