I'm not planning to return for a few years.....I have always made it clear that I am here because I made a committment, a long time ago, to one of my sons.
I intend to honour that committment (although such a concept may seem strange to many on here).
If you read my posts they tend not to be whinges but piss takes about Australians, Australia and the Australian 'dream'.
I have a very comfortable life here.....but then I did in England.
I will return to the UK to retire...comfortably.

I must have been wearing them too!!!! ... it was crap today in Brissie....felt like it was about 10 degrees higher than the normal spring average....like a bad summer day....came good in the afternoon though, was at new farm park and it was buzzing...kids playing in the fig tree's having a ball....sport going on everywhere, picnics on the river, wine guzzling at the powerhouse, boats zipping around....was all go for a sunday...i love that place!!!!

Was rainy, grey & humid in Cairns today but oh so much better than anything we had for the last 2 years in the UK!
