Most people I know who have started it says it's utter crap and threw it away. I'm not going to waste my time.

From the comments I've heard about it I don't intend to pick it up either. I know some people are raving about it, but don't think its my kind of book.

Re: Good book

Just finished "punishing the patient - how psychiatrists misunderstand and mistreat schizophrenia" and

started "taken in Contempt - when parents abduct their own children" by Robin Bowles... A lady whose Grandson was abducted by his mother to France...its her story interspersed with research andnother peoples accounts of the same thing.... And its AUSTRALIAN..... Quite topical considering recent events on the East Coast....

I'm plodding through Ken Follett's Fall of Giants - it's not bad but I'm not enthralled. It's not helping that a couple of books I ordered have just arriived and I want to read them, so I'm reading and quietly sulking simultaneously. I know I could put the Ken Follett book to one side, but it's against the rules - my rules

It might pick up if you keep at it. His books are like that...perhaps that's why they're a metre thick.
