We should send our lot to Rotterdam to see the future of Australia with Gillards policies.

Wilders only exists because of the failed social engineering experiments of the left-wing elites that rule Europe. If nations don't want people like him - think. You can ignore Wilders if you like (although the people of the Netherlands certainly aren't) but in 10-20 years time the next Wilders may not be democratically elected.......

Do I think that he should govern his country? No, of course not. Like Farage in the UK, he is a one trick pony and they are never good at running a nation. But he is going to drag Holland from the left to the right and to me that is a very good thing. He is going to prevent his country sleep-walking into a very bleak future.

That's my viewpoint. If that makes some on here see of me as a racist, then so be it. I'm not but haters gonna hate.

Yeah it must be tough being wrongly referred to as a hater.

I was thinking the same thing. The stakes are too high for Australia not to learn from Europe's unreversible mistakes.

I just watched the interview myself, I wondered what all the fuss was about.
You could substitute the word Islam in all that Wilders says for Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism maybe even Sikhism. All have fanatics yet we don't worry about them in the same way. Why?
Take a look at the troubles in many parts of the world. Ireland, for example, Catholics fighting Protestants Christian fighting Christian.
How about trouble in the Punjab Jat Sikh fighting Dalit Sikh.
Iraq: Kurd, Shiite, and Sunni Muslims all fighting each other.
Every religion appears to have it's own extremists prepared to kill in the name of their chosen faith.
Will the more moderate within these faiths rise up & denounce the violent minority? We can but hope

Blimey 100 posts about an insignificant nobody.

Is there anyone that takes Geert seriously ? Seriously ?

Looks like forum poltics are the real reason this thread got to 100.

I think anyone who doesn't take Geert seriously is obviously completely unaware of what goes on in the world. But that applies to the majority of the population who only really care about what team is playing tonight, how much more entitlements they can scrounge and where best to fish.

It's kind of why you know Wilders and his supporters are racist.

It's perfectly possible to espouse political policies which state that religious extremists are a danger to society, and that those extremists, and the religion they use, should not be allowed to be an excuse for any actions or inactions - nor be given any legal standing.

That's perfectly valid (and I'd suggest a damn good idea).

The only problem is, you'd have to kick the bishops out of the house of lords, Ratzinger would be behind bars for protecting child abusers, and Wingnut would be looking very dodgy for paling up to Pell.

Non-racist policies would have to put your own house in order first. Islam and it's zealots, in the west, would be a sideshow.

You'll note, all those who are happy to say islam should be curtailed, never want to suggest such true, political, policies...

Seems everyone is interpreting or understanding you incorrectly at the moment. Perhaps you should go start up your own forum so you could allow who you want to join and pick and choose what posts are allowed. Oh and this thread is in the barbie. It's still an off topic type forum. Maybe you should stick to the main Aus board if that style suits you better.

Nope, just you. But looks like you just want to get the last word on this so it's all yours.
