Geert Wilders...

...is coming to Australia next week. There was a good interview with him on the ABC last night. I like him and agree with a lot of his viewpoints on Islam and the threat that it poses to his country - and the rest of Europe. The world needs people like him, not so much for their views but the fact that they are questioning the failure of multiculturism, political correctness and the creeping destruction of traditional systems and ideologies that are promoted and enforced by the left. In a way he speaks for a lot of people (voters) who are being ignored.

Remember, he is a democratically elected politician from one of the most democratic and liberal countries in the world, but a country that is experiencing the total failure of multiculturism and tolerance of a 3rd world, outdated and insular religion.

He was given a visa because this is a democracy and his viewpoint deserves to be heard. If radical muslims can express their views, then so can he.

Democracy means that you sometimes have to hear things that you don't like - but others may.

There is a line zulu, and wilders skirts 5mm from the very edge of it in his public words - but where the intent is perfectly clearly several football pitches further to the right.

He is, frankly, a shit stirrer, and the best thing to do is treat him as you would pauline hanson; as the racist arsehole he is.

I gave you the benefit of the doubt, but it seems you weren't joking after the other thread on xenophobia...

I don't seek or require your approval for anything I write on here - take it as you like. I know how it was intended.

You've kind of proven some of the points that Wilders is trying to make though.......

He has shown in no uncertain terms what he thinks, he is a racist pure and simple and it isnt possible to dress it up any other way. He is very clever in that he knows how to appeal to his target 'market'.

And you've proven, to all, exactly what you are, and your inability to recognise it in yourself

I thought he was very good as Willy Wonka in Charlie and the Chocolate factory. I never thought of him as a racist.
