Funniest names...

Here are some of the names of people I have either known or read.

1. Candida (OMG, can you imagine being named after a fungal infection)

2. Russell Sprout (Mum said when she was having me, the woman in her maternity ward called her son 'Russell' and her surname was Sprout.

3. We had a boy round our way with his surname of 'Marrow'.

4. I have heard of someone being called 'Fanny' which I think is funny.

Has anyone got any funny names to add?

When I worked in a HR dept. We had a 'Flower Princess' and a 'Snow Queen' and even one called 'Precious Flower'. I think some African countries favour these names.

Went to school with a boy called Justin McDonald. His mother remarried a man named Case and his stepfather adopted him, so his name changed to Justin Case.
We also have a patient in my office called Hazel Urine and another named Dick Smallbone. Whenever he phones I can't help but stifle a chuckle..."Hello, this is Mr. Smallbone calling" :D

I knew a Mary Marrow and my late granny was often called Fanny by my grandfather, she was christened frances. I know a Mr Cartiledge the orthopedic surgeon and lots of the very old scottish ladies were often named after male relatives but with ins added on, like Andrewina, Robertina etc. The African people have some strange christian names, have come across lots of Tickey's (small coins), Sugapot, Corporal, Fisher, Brilliance, Mercy, Kingston and Vanks, among many others. One traditional name i liked was Paidamayo, it means "my sunshine". My own surname is way too weird, really thinking about changing it. I am named after my uncle, and once when I was travelling to another town on company business I had been booked into the male hostel because they thought I was a man due to my name :D

I forgot my son's karate teacher...Dusty Miner. My friend Jennifer calls him Musty Diner :D . He keeps saying he's gonna kick the sh*t out of her for it, too. My mum's knickname is Bunny. I'm the youngest of her 10 children.
Oh, there used to be a urologist in Calgary (Canada) called Dr. Hackitt. :scared:
