Eye test lady
After worrying most of the day....
Got there at 3.15 waited 45 mins to be told that, because Flynn needed eye drops (no shit sherlock) 45 mins before the appointment and she was going home now, that she wouldn't be carrying out the eye test. AND would i do the eye drops in 15 minute intervals before the next appointment as i only live 25 mins away?. Oh and i can stop along the way to put one set of eye drops in "Yeah" i say, "great plan"
Did i ******g hellas like So she begrudingly agrees to do them next time as she sighs and informs me i'll be there at least an hour. Oh well, not much different to today then is it??!!
THEN! The next appointments over 3 weeks away, days after the appointment with the pediatrician so no reults will be availiable for then. Also if there is anything wrong we need to know sooner so he can be treated

I RANG MY PEDIATRICIAN oops sorry to shout! and spoke to her receptionist who asked, if i had waited 45 mins, why couldn't the eye drops have been put in then. Hooray! they get it !! Whilst i knew i wasn't overreacting, i feel better knowing that they don't see it as good either. Anyway Cathy will call me back soon, hopefully with a referal to somewhere else. (fingers crossed for the Monash!)
Anyway, rant over and, for those that need your Flynn fix....

He's looking fantastic mate!
Nice to see him home and doing fine without all the bits & bobs on him keeping him OK.
He's now about the same weight as I was when I was born & I'm now not exactly built like a javelin!!!
I showed the pics of him to our wee Christina & she said, "Eeeeooohh!"
Apparently that means that she's thinking he's potential boyfriend material in a few years time!

Aw Hevs sounds like eye test lady just wanted to skive off early that day.
What kinda eye drops they use there anyway? I've had to administer these to my mum after major eye surgery and had myself and never had to repeat.
Fingers crossed that things go well on the next go.

How special am I. I got to cuddle the wee fella today until dad made his bottle.
