Kids talking about healthy food :scared: my little one bribes us...she'll only eat a healthy dinner if it's followed by either cheesecake or a kinder egg...and she's only 4 :scared:

We don't leave santa beer, he gets a glass of water and the reindeers get a bowl of water, can't have him driving a sleigh pissed now can we but santa does get chocolate, and boy do I enjoy it

My 7 year old who has just decided that there is no Santa has decided that Santa only gets beer because I want it, he isn't sure enought though to leave nothing just in case .
They are all hyper and I haven't done the wrapping yet so it looks like it is going to be a long night.

Rather you than me. I did the wrapping last week, 2 flamin hours I was at it for, so I think you deserve that beer

I've had the "how does santa deliver his presents when none of the houses have chimneys?" question. Just told her he has a special key for all the security doors, and thankfully she's young enough to believe it.

You will have her terrified that a strange man has keys to the house and can come in when he feels like it . When our older daughter was 3 she was terrified and wouldn't sleep at all Christmas night in case Santa came back it was all a bit too much for her.
We just rely on the old 'he is magic' etc and left a glitter footprint one year which they all loved.

Oh crap, I'd not thought of that. Will have to change the story next year I think.

Right I've got to go get her out of the bath and into bed then get the presents out of hiding and under the tree then go get some kip before we're woken at some uneartly hour

Hopefully not too many beers or else it could prove to be an interesting bike Santa built ours (good job too probably).
I have just got to track down our 16 year old who appears to have forgotten where he lives.

Ummmm just heard form our 16 year old it seems that his friend that has been staying with us for the past few days has nowhere to go for Christmas. I told sam that he had to go over Christmas week (we only met him when he moved in) as I assumed that he would go home to his parents. It appears that is not going to happen so now not sure what to do, do we have another person to Christmas when we don't know them? or will it be just too much with 4 kids already here?

you dear (and hubby) are just way too soft. Though somewhere I do indeed have a heart, I believe this friend of your son (and your son) is taking the piss.
You aint a drop in shelter are ya ? If youre not, kindly direct this homeless fella to the salvation army or similar place where they are professionals at housing the homeless.

Thanks I probably do just need a kick up the backside. Apparently a friend's mom is organising him a motel or something (there are no places fro the homeless here there was a big thing about it recently in the paper).Sam isn't pushing it at all luckily but it just feels wrong somehow, although we aren't in a position to put him up here as there is just no room (he was on the floor in Sam's room).
Oh well another beer required I think.
Nicky
