FWI cadburys....lorem ipsum is what web designers use to fill a page with content while it is in the process of being built - this then lets viewers know that the site is still in progress.

Takes up extra bytes, but works good within diff browsers. Some robots spider alt & title tags

Just been looking at adding title tags to the images in dreamweaver and cant see where I do it? Do I just type it directly into the code?

Some search engines ignore Title attribute, some dont display ALT attribute.

You're a diamond Ste honestly - this is all really helpful stuff!

Having probs with FTP upload at the moment for a friend in the UK - they used a bloody website builder to build a front page - I've deleted it and am now trying to upload mine - the files are on the server but cant be viewed!!!! :curse::curse: Directory is /. - they dont use public_html - any suggestions before my PC goes out the window!! haha - the host they've used it www.1and1.co.uk and IMO its bloody shocking!

one and one are shockers. a simple search on here will reveal my dealings with them

it was when they had their really shit page - now i've deleted it and uploaded mine it isnt :curse:

Sometimes these ppl like one and one, parse data via the template from a global directory.
So what you think you see isnt where you think its coming from. If that makes sense.

Have you got no ftp access at all?
