Yes,all his life support systems will be medically/mechanically maintained for him,tis routine for this type of injury.

Thanks, I remember hearing the same kind of thing about Schumacher, and wondered what the reasoning is for inducing a coma. Guess if allows the body to concentrate on healing instead of on actually breathing etc.

It is also important to remember er the bloke that bowled the ball, even though he was doing what he and others had done a million times before that one delivery will change his life.
