A wonderful display of spin bowling by Ashwin and Jadeja.
I allowed myself a little chuckle.
Could be over by lunch.

Australia are in a situation entirely of their own making - nobody to blame but themselves.
England and SA have shown that India can be beaten at home and Australia are making them look better than they really are.
My heart bleeds for them.

It almost makes The Courier Mail worth reading for the post-mortem

Unlikely .... its pretty obvious to even the most bias Aussie supporter there's a spin issue. With bat and ball. .... doubt there will be many excuses.
Watching SAF v Pakistan right now. Yeah its pyjama cricket but the world champs are copping a spanking.

Just saw a cricket wrap up on sky news. No excuses. Just fark how do we get out of this mess.

But fundamental changes at a high level have to happen to allow and encourage emerging players to come through ... not just discard them on some idea of a 'rotation policy'.
I mean, how does Nathan Lyon feel right now? Encouraged?

Rain stopped play in NZ
As regards India v Oz, I think this was a case of a side winning with extra good bowling rather than a side losing with indifferent ability.

Ohja was the joint highest wicket taker in that series with 20 (same as Swann) and he isn't even playing here.
So far Aus have only made in excess of 300 runs in an innings once and lost a much larger number of wickets to seam bowling than against England. This bowling lineup that Ind have put out is nothing special. Ashwin is the only standout and even he is pretty poor on non-Indian pitches.
This is all Aus' doing.
