As per usual the bowlers were the difference especially when you have batting sides as equally as shite as each other. Adelaide looking good for England under lights. Jimmy Anderson will be licking his lips at the rare prospect of some swing. |

Smith was the difference IMO, England were looking at a 100 run first innings lead before he took over.
That might have pepped the bowling up in the final innings. Worrying lack of depth for England’s bowling stocks though, as I said Anderson and Broad can’t take them all ... Some pluses to be taken from the new batters Vince and Stoneman tho. Need to draw level in Adelaide or it’s going to be a very, very long road. |
