My local good guys had sold out, bugger!
Thank you, will try that. Have ordered a couple of recipe books from the library to try as well.

The paprika chicken recipe in the instruction book is a favourite in our house

I rarely want kitchen appliances and I have a slow cooker but I really want one of these fast/slow cookers. I wonder how much I could get for mine on Gumtree?

I was just looking to replace my pressure cooker - it isn't often that I rave about a kitchen appliance, lol, but I really wouldn't be without mine now. It's just so versatile.

Ok, new recipe last night that turned out pretty good.
In the pot layer

Potatoes (I just cut baby potatoes in half) to cover the bottom of the pot
Thickly sliced onions to cover the potatoes
carrots cut in 1/2" rounds
6 chicken drumsticks

Pour over a bottle of Masterfoods Smoky BBQ sauce (the glass bottle) and sprinkle on about 1/2 tsp chili powder.

Cook on medium pressure for 19 minutes.

Same deal we got. Try the lamb shanks with red wine (if it's the same cookbook).

The rubber seal on my Prestige Hi-dome has finally gone after many years faithful service. My soup leaked steam all over my newly cleaned cooktop. Any ideas of where I can get a replacement seeing as they stopped making them a good few years ago???

I also made some rather deliciously scrumptious Carrot & Lentil soup through the week. (It was supposed to do me for lunches but the kids scranned it all!!)

If you fancy that recipe (it is more delightful than it sounds, honest) then just shout.

Oh and Turban Explorer is just jealous cos she hasn't got one

I can't think of anything more gag-reflex inducing than carrot and lentil soup but the old man says he would like to try it.
