I don't get it.

Life throws you lemons, you make lemonade... They just forgot to add any sugar to it....

Bitter people everywhere. This forum just gives people an avenue to blame the country they currently live in for all their woes.

But surely you knew that was a possibility when you came to Australia. People blame their failed marriages, crap area they live in, crap jobs, crap schools, lack of excitement etc etc on Australia, truth is they've just made some bad choices that could have happened anywhere.

My darling fluckwitted snake bitten husband could have been run over by a london bus if we were still living in the uk... Shit happens

Oh dear, I live in a fabulous area, have never been happier in my relationship with HIM, my kids are being educated appropriately according to their individual needs, and as for excitement? I came here for a quiet life

is it living in Australia that causes me to have all of these? dammit I should have stayed in Blighty... Where we would probably be just as happy

people will usually blame anything other than themselves for their woes... Its human nature I'm afraid

Someone's always looking for someone else to blame instead of taking a good look at themselves. Lots of people like that.

There are bitter and twisted people from every country in the world, I dare say if you look on any forum for expats from any country you will find the same. Aussies, Americans, Saffers, Brits are all known as whiners.
Lets not forget that there are plenty of Godzoners who come across as quite bitter as well which seems odd.
