This is taking the piss. It makes the current Perth property market look tame:

Sydney Ashes Tickets - First 3 days, currently $12,100.00

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Sydney-Ashes-...QQcmdZViewItem

{edit} Actually, with hindsight, I remember this happening with Splendour in the Grass tickets. Most of the high bidders are eBayers with zero reputation. Probably disgruntled fans stuffing up the auction to spite the greedy scalpers.

whoop dee freakin doo....at last i got mine! going to Perth on Day 3..

what a farce though - got my first at 1pm (for some unknown reason it would only let me buy one?) then had to go through it all again till i got my 2nd at 2.45pm! the F5 button had a good workout today for sure!

good luck to those still trying....apparently there's still some left????

Yeah summit like that.....think it said 'keep hittin F5 til the blood drains from your finger and you lose the will to live.'...and you eventually get through then kicked back out! :scared:
seriously though you just have to keep hittin F5 till the page goes blank and then it takes you into the page to choose the type/price and collection choices. Only trouble was there was no choice! i got basic price in grass area (hope its inside the bloody WACA...?)

Is there something in the small print about not reselling them??
if so hopefully they will not issue the tickets to those that are selling on ebay.

I was gonna go for the 5 day test match pass for the west grass bank. ($105).
I've got this feeling though, that the site won't give me that option even though it's advertised, & it'll be single days only.
Any ideas from past experience?

Mate I still have my guest pass......... Now lets talk

ok you can have the car - i'm sure my daughter won't miss it.

It's blue, no servicing or petrol required, v low mileage and v easy to park, given it is about 10cm long

Got mine......sort of. Got some for the Sydney ODI against Oz, and a whole bunch for the 20/20 in Sydney.
Could not get the Sydney test match though, have to wait for the 19th when the rest go on sale. Love to see England retain them as I was at The Oval when we won them in September.
