We brought the box set of series one back with us from the UK last year and have the last episode to watch - have been saving it! Now that the second series is showing in the UK we are hoping that it will be out of DVD by the time we fly back to Oz at the end of July!

We tried the US series but it was weird the way the first episode was word for word of the UK one but since then has gone off down a different path. I quite liked it but got a bit bored with it after about 6 episodes and have given up with it! As much as I like Harvey as an actor I don't think he is quite right as Gene and the OP is right....he does mumble!

Looking forward to seeing the second series! Love all the fashion (did we really wear that!) and music!

I did laugh in the first series when the ambulance man was just literally a driver with very little medical abilities!

Another great episode this evening I loved the 80's (my teenage years), everything is so familiar although it does make you stop & think how much things have changed over the last 27 or so years.

I know, I keep singing along and me and OH frequently try to guess who the title and artists are. He gets the 'rock' ones and I'm the New Romantic expert. It took me back to me perms and shoulder pads, which, in fairness, probably should never have happened.

Kim,

According to Play.com, where I used to get my DVDs from, series 2 of Ashes to Ashes is released in the UK on 13th July....

Going to pick it up when I go to visit my parents in the UK....
