Try BTJunkie, Mininova, ISOhunt etc. I'm sure it will be on one of those sites. I download Underbelly off BTJunkie so that I don't have to watch it with Harvey Norman and Rugs-a-million ads.

Kept hoping through the last series that they would bring John Simm back as he wasn't actually killed off in Life on Mars.

There was a reference to John Simm character being killed off a couple of years before in the first episode of the Ashes to ashes series

Ashes to Ashes is basically the same as Life on Mars but is set in early 80's London .Female copper goes back in time and meets Gene Hunt and crew who have transfered to Met police...................................etc etc.

Such a pity that ABC such pricks they cancelled it because the costs of production in the Long Island studio were put up.

With regards to Life on Mars(uk and US)versions.i really liked uk ver and when they released the us ver i thought just another remake but to my surprise i enjoyed it.apart from the first episode all the others were different. Both lots of actors did a great job .

The series is pretty good (3rd show this week). I'm still not keen on the bird as she's pretty over-the-top, but Gene is as fantastic as usual. If he goes, I don't think the show could survive, as he makes it.
I think he is absolutely gorgeous - does that make me a bad person?

I thought the original version was outstanding. The acting was superb and John Simm and Phil Glenister are totally underrated. Some of Genes quips were so near the bone and hilarious. I tried to like the US version but couldn't get in to it. Could hardly understand a word Keitel said either, he just mumbled. No comparison in my opinion. The best is the original, Uk version. The Yanks don't come close.

Thanks squeezzii. I've googled him, none the wiser though, but thanks anyway. Saw a short utube clip of him in Hustle and they're very similar.

In the first episode of the first series of Ashes to Ashes they said that Sam's car had gone in to a canal or river but they'd never recovered his body. Which to me says they've left it open ended as he may still be alive & could return. Well that's me hoping......John Simm........

Another great episode this evening I loved the 80's (my teenage years), everything is so familiar although it does make you stop & think how much things have changed over the last 27 or so years.
