Anybody know when the next Ashes series will take place? And when it will be played in Australia again.

Summer 2013 in England (& Wales?), Nov 2014 is when the next Ashes down under is due to commence - if Test cricket is still going by then.

Customs officer just informed me Rod Marsh reckons that form of the game is done for....

Still prefer test cricket to either T20 or one day. Even if it's just to confuse and befuddle Yanks with the 5 days and still a draw

Oh and bloody typical, watch the first hour then rack out and then the wickets fall

Still good days work from England and some watchful battig from Oz during the first hour will catch highlights later

Damn straight, some sport should be reserved for adults who can appreciate the ebb and flow of a game that lasts a few days.

Leave the rest to those with the attention span of gnats

I certainly prefer Tests, but I think One Dayers and 20-20 have a place too. We used to do trips to watch 20-20 at Hove after work, and because it was a short fast game we got people interested who wouldn't normally have come, some were even later persuaded to come to longer games.

Nothing beats a really good 5 day Test for me though

Today was a testing day for both sides. Good, hard cricket. As in Test Match. England will win this one as well.

I prefer tests but with a six year old that thinks she is at another Aussie rules football match when at a Twenty 20 matchI think that is as long as she can cope with!Sue.
