Another great days cricket at the MCG today, actually a very decent crowd in today and most of them stuck it out until tea, probably over 20,000 english fans out of the 60,000.
It was great when Ponting came out as there was a chorus of boo's before the locals thought bloody hell we better give him some support.

Happy happy days, I had to leave the action at 2pm but I knew it was in safe hands and I got to see Ponting go

Been watching nowt else since Boxing Day ... I had a huge choresfest just before Christmas to build up some brownie points ... Unfortunately today was a family thang that could not be shifted ... I had faith that wickets would dutifully fall and leave with some action tomorrow.

we went over to the neighbours in the afternoon, and it was really funny how all the English kept rushing out to the TV every time a wicket fell, and the Aussies stayed in the other room rather quietly!
