I think you are missing the point, reverse what happened in Sudan and put the same situation in the UK. Would it receive the same publicity and as well someone being possibly given lashes or folk on the street wanting the death sentence for something that is so meaningless!?

You are missing the point....it is being stirred up for political reasons.... the Sudanese government would love us to get out of the country....they WANT us to get pissed off.....then they could continue with their suppression of Darfur without scrutiny.
