Hi there,
I wonder if any of you have got a son or daughter that could give my 13 year old son some positive comments on Australia. Although we are at the start of the process, he is refusing to even consider this move. It would be great to hear from some of the kids that have done it and are gad that they moved.
Hope you don't mind me asking this but I really am struggling with him.
Thank you very much
Sharon

I have 2! (13 year olds that is) but I doubt I'd get them to come on here. One is an aussie born and bred and one is an uprooted (haha) Canadian. My daughter has been living in Oz for 3 years now and loves it. Maybe they can exchange MySpace pages or MSN contacts in PM?

We have been here 8 months now and i asked them both 6 months ago if they would move back to the uk and both their answers were NO!
I think kids adapt a lot quicker than adults with change .

Soppy had a look at that thread thanks, I know it will be ok in the end he is a really nice kid who makes friends easily, but you know how it is. We could be moving 20 miles and he would be feeling like this.
He has just got his first girlfriend!!!

No, no BEBO but MSN should do fine. I'll send hers in PM (and let her know that I've done it LOL)
