Just interested to know if there were any couples with teenagers coming to Perth or are already here. Would love to meet up with anyone. Our daughter is finding it hard to settle, and needs help.

I suggest you post in the teenagers forum as there are quite a few in the same boat on there
If its any help my daughter is 14 and after 5 months is only just managing to settle and even start to be remotely happy. Its hard work but it will be worth it, just hang in there x

Perth is notoriously difficult to "break into" - for adults as well as teens. Indeed, it seems only little ones, like our son who's 3 1/2, settle quickly. Because it is so isolated, everyone tends to get to know everyone else when they are tiny and by the time they reach their teens they already have their circle of friends. This is frustrating for a newcomer, but also a good thing. When your daughter clicks with a local girl it will open the door to all her friends and she'll never look back.

I've got an 11 yr old - maybe a bit too young but really wants to make some friends and a 14 ,almost 15 yr old, maybe a bit too old plus she's a little sod at the moment so maybe not the best influence!!
