what a great video.
My one regret from watching that is that we didn't take our lads when they were younger, they will be 13 and 15 when we arrive, hope it wont be to much hard work for them to settle.

My kids spent most of the summer holidays last year stuck inside with the rain here (and none of it fell in the ruddy dam so we still had water restrictions - can't water your garden, wash your car etc).

Hmmm, because kids don't watch TV or get bored in Aus!! Oh, and it doesn't rain!

Tsk tsk tsk. Don't we get told off for making sweeping statements like "My kids spent most of the summer holidays last year stuck inside with the rain here."? Hmmm?

Seriously, it did rain here for weeks on end over the Xmas and New Year period. I love the weather here most of the time, it's a major plus. However, I just think those coming over thinking their kids are never going to be bored or spend hours sitting in front of a pc/tv are kidding themselves. But then I was probably exactly the same before I came over.

Currently 16.5 degrees and out of the sun it is chilly to say the least.

We've discovered something new. It is called a TV. Slowed our family down to just 5 kids. No more though, had the job done on the 'Jatz Crackers'.
We enjoy the feeling of a larger family, and on weekends we get more, because all their friends like to hang out at our place...more noise and movement, I think.
You have a bit of catching up to do with my wife's family though. She is one of 25 siblings...it is what can happen when your Dad has 3 wives at once.
Mozambique is like that.
All the best for your move down under.

Anyhow we figure the world is in need of a few more good humans to balance the scales.
We hope we're welcomed in Oz....we're so ready to leave the Great Late USA.

I think they should throw their kids playstations, WII, TV's etc out, then wait for their kids response when they discover kids play them as much here as anywhere

Worst summer I can remember was ages ago, 03 i think it was so damn hot for six months, playstation in the AC was a sanity saver.

Have you been to Australia before? Are you looking to settle in the city or the country? Good luck with the move! I hope it is all you hoped for.

How's it in WA?
