I wonder how much the farmer living in abject poverty in Costa Rica/Guatemala/Philippines was paid to grow them?

Very little I am afraid. Some kid will work 10 hours today, and go to bed hungry, so that bananas will be cheap in London.

I wish it were not so.

Indeed, and what's more i've heard tell that every time someone in London eats a banana, a puppy is killed. This doesn't happen with Australian bananas.

Vim, the 1p is a copy of the old 2c coin. Although you might not remember that as Aus got rid of the useless thing ages ago.

I've not even seen AU$1 notes. The US version used to piss me off 15 years ago.

The Queen doesn't look very happy.

I guess you could do that thing where you fold it to make it look like the Queen is giving a blow job but you would have to wonder about the state of Prince Philip's todger. Not as good as doing the same with the the old £10 note.
