That is interesting. I was wondering about that the other day when I saw that the Sri Lankan community is relatively large here. (2006 census puts Melly's population at 30,000 compared with 50,000 Indians.) Surely, racists don't distinguish between Sri Lankans and Indians?

But are you Punjabi? Or are you one of the sectarians who dislike Punjabis?

No, that's not why it closed down. I was admin on that site and we had thousands of members. It closed down for other reasons.

No, not just her. I also post on a Canadian Expats site. There is little traffic on it, though, seeing how there is not a very big Canadian Expat community. There is however a very large Indian community, so it would make sense for there to be an Indian Expats site. It may be there is a site already, but I haven't bothered to look for it.

Perhaps they should change the name of the site then... at the moment I could probably have them under the Trades Description Act.


I tend to keep out of the immigration side of the site because watching my language get mauled on a daily basis by people who have probably passed IELTS gets a bit tedious.


....please do the needful as its getting very less interesting.

Without any single group like Australians, Brits or Pakistanis to pick on as their whipping boys they all turned on each other and the site imploded. ;)

Cut this generalizing crap. BTW, there are more punjabis in Pakistan than in India and many such are also in Aus. You seem to be very ignorant about Punjabi nature.:thumbdown:
