Megaliana (and co) would have to be one of the most intelligent posters (if somewhat cryptic) posters on here.
No way is he a troll or racist. The issue (as I saw it) was him trying to prove that the infamous 'P' word was not construed as being offensive HERE in Australia and he came up with quite a few valid points to prove his argument. His only crime was that he did not give up. I'll certainly miss him if he doesn't return in some other guise. So he changed his username from time to time. So what? Everyone always knew it was still him, there was never anything underhand or suspicious about it. Guess we should look on the bright side - we've now lost Megalania but gained Fuzzy Duck.... |

I was bored last night and looked through your old posts because I was interested to see if you had always been so up yourself. It would appear that you have some sort of moral standard that no one in the world is going to live up to. Therefore I don't think you will ever be satisfied with anything anyone ever says. I was interested in a recent post where you complained about Flutterscutter's bouncing cartoon boobs. You felt it unnecessary on the internet incase your children saw it when you went for tea. Now if this is for religious or moral reasons then that's up to you. It is also up to you to put safeguards in place on your computer so that your children can't see it. It is not for us to change how we behave. It's the internet for heavens sake. They will certainly see far worse. You appear to have taken on the role of moral guardian for everyone on Expats. I would just like to say that that role is neither wanted or needed. If you don't like it, IGNORE IT. Don't tell other people what to do or how to behave and you will get on fine. Which incidentally, neither did Janey So before anyone takes sides maybe they should be aware of ALL of the facts before making a stupid situation even more idiotic |
