Well we hit 40c today and that supposedly 'felt like' 43c.
It's a rarity for this part of Australia, thank God, and if we faced this sort of heat every Summer then I would be moving ASAP.
The only word that fits todays weather is 'awful'. Current readings.....

Feels Like 39.1°C
Relative Humidity 40%

I have read two differing reports today, one said the heat will be with us for a few more weeks
another report says the weather will drop tomorrow to the mid 20's with a chance of rain 
I know which one I prefer...........

Cool change due around lunch time and the windy remnants of Yasi coming our way in the Illawarra.
Weatherzone reckons we just had the longest hot spell of 30 degree plus days since records began. Who'd of thunk it after all the moaning we did about the cold and rain in Nov/Dec and early Jan.
Will get down to about 20 overnight tonight - Yayyyyy!
