First Born's boyfriend went in our yesterday, reckoned it was fab. Even the husband thought he was mad :lol FB was shivering whilst sitting in the sun watching him.

A tip for all you pool owners. My mum had the hard to remove "black spot" in her pool and decided to try using her normal household high pressure cleaner.

Worked a treat - just blasted the black spot away, followed up with some algicide and now all good.

22 degrees still. Had the pump on continously for the last few days getting the water clear since the heavy rain. Should start heating up again now.

I guess it would work if you never get leaves and twigs in the pool

The video shows it munching big leaves too....it even mentions twigs and acorns in the blurb, very surprised.

I get massive palm leaves in my pool. It would be impressive if it could cope with those.

Didn't watch it. How do they go up that tiny pipe? Wouldn't last two minutes in our pool

Think they go into a big bag inside the machine and then you empty it after x number of cleans instead of emptying pool leaf catcher?

He put his leg in this afternoon and decided the temp six inches below the top was a tad too chilly and he's a tough nut. Going to try and remember to attach the pump to the solar next weekend.
