Being 4 ft 11 and 3/4's i miss Dotty p's petites, they fitted me perfectly. The target short length are still too long
Oh and a really big Ottakas
Its funny though a year ago i would have listed all of the other things on here, now I've kind of forgotten what to miss if that makes sense
To those of you who think its shallow to miss stuff, get over yourselves, its all part of the adaption process

Interesting to read the posts re Next and other British retailers. I am in the mail order business, predominately e-commerce and intend to start a number of sites now I am here in Australia. I look after a number of large companies in the UK, mostly but not exclusively clothing.
I am bringing one of my UK customers into the Australian market ready for Christmas (silk clothing, 45+ age group, female) as a trial.
My question really is;
If you could get Next, MandS etc. would people be prepared to pay UK prices and wait (poss 28 days) for shipment.
Cheers

Where in Aus are you? We have excellent fish and chip shops here in Brisbane - far nicer than most of the ones I have used in the UK. I good range of chinese takeaway (and an even better range of Thai), loads of 24hr servos and as for B&Q, have you seen a shop called Bunnings? Or Mitre10? Or home hardware?
Cheers,
DagBoy

We are in South Australia by the way and there definitely isn't a 24 hour shop anywhere near us.

At least I don't know of one - so if anyone knows if there is a 24 hour shop near North Have please let me know. Being pregnant you can get cravings for weird things like doritos and ice-cream and sometimes you need a 24 hour shop.

My first thought after we seriously decided to look into moving to Australia was 'But there isn't a Zara''. I know I'm sad but I love shopping and NEED Zara, Gap, etc. Why oh why isn't there a Zara in Oz?
