Also miss decent toy shops - Gamleys in Brighton was superb.
And after the experiences of the last three weeks, I can honestly say Brighton & Hove Bus Co are wonderful, with their clean new buses, smooth driving, and generally cheerful drivers

Yeh, we have Myers not sure about DJs? Asked a couple of local 'chemists' recently, but no luck - so have just begun trying other 'brands' for easyness.
Cheers - let me know if your Myers does it and I will check ours tomorrow
Hope your brother and SIL are having a good time up here - bit misty today though - shame!
What am I doing on here anyway eh - answer that one

:scared: DJs thought that it was a salon only product so suggested calling some of the beauty salon stores?
I'll keep my eye out for it & have a scout & see what I can find.

After my day today....anyway UK supermarket, I only want cocktail cherries for our party and none to be found!!!
miss (and always knew I would as have been away before)
M&S
Next
Boots
John Lewis (ok David Jones sort of makes up for it but the one in Perth isn't as good as the other's in Australia)
although have found a way round getting clothes, order from website and get Mum to send it out, only downside is I can't feel the quality browsing on the website
Its just they haven't got any clue on how to layout merchandise here, it all looks like a massive jumble sale

Have a look at this article in Sydney Morning Herald - When does free mean Free

Buy One, Get One Free: That buy one shirt (or CD, book, lampshade), get one free seemed like a good idea. But if you have second thoughts, try returning the one you paid for and keeping the free one.

Don't want to make you all jealous, but, I've just come back from the UK, and stocked up on M&S bras and knickers. Been here 2 years and been relying on mum and sis to send me these for birthdays and Christmas. Hubby stocked up on Next boxers though he does buy his from Target. Been to Next and got some work clothes, great quality, not bad prices, which fit and I know will last. Also got lots of Summer things from Next, and Matalan - trouble is it's too bloody cold to wear any of them now in Perth.
As for M&S food - hadn't even got to my families and I'd already had a duck wrap - some of the services on the M4 have M&S food shops, I got so excited I passed the first one, and had to wait another 40 miles before I got to the next one. Also had my fill of prawn mayo sarnies. And most importantly had a decent bit of BACON! MMMMMMMmmmmm! Not sure how long I'll have to wait until my next visit - around 5 years I reckon!!! but parents are coming out in March and I reckon I can last until then. If only Next knew what a killing they would make if they delivered overseas.

You could try doing a Google search for the tel number from memory I think their Head office was in Sydney. If no luck let me know and I'll see if I can find out as I live in Sydney.

[QUOTE=My only other thing is Boots' 'The Sanctuary' body souffle (it even sounds lovely!) moisturiser. I shipped 3 tubs over, but I've almost finished my 2nd

Have you tried Ebay? I've just done a quick search:-

I could get my Mum to purchase and send, but I haven't got the kinda figure that I can chuck anything on and get away with it, so there could be some too-ing and fro-ing in the mail...weeks of hassle.

Mr Logan/Barina Boy, brought some Fortnum and Mason marmalade over (apparantly it's the best, ..don't know I don't eat it), and he's almost run out. :scared:
