I’m at my wits end for the answer to how you are supposed to get service or do business here, I’ve learnt a valuable lesson today and that to phone the day before to make sure they know your coming regardless of the fact you might already have arranged something.
Oh and while I was in port on a fools errand I went into Bunnings to get some water buts for the alpacas, and guess what, while I was in the checkout queue an old woman came up to my trolly and took out the 2 large plastic buckets out of trolly, had a feel and then took them to show her husband!!! WTF is going on? She brought them back placed the in the trolly then walked away and didn’t say a word!
Just another day in paradise!!!!

You should apply for job with the Samaritains, listen to the callers problems and then tell them yours you'll cheer them up no end.

Next time Arkon, why don't you squeeze something belonging to the old lady in return.

Not a Toymota dealer by any chance ABC?
Sounds like the service I get.....well nearly get!
When we first bought the car we were living at the MIL's so used her address and mobile number. For the previous 3 services she has been getting a lovely letter and text message telling her that our car has been going for a service whereas we get nothing. On the 3 previous services we have changed the details to our new house and number but the computer never seems to get the update.
We have just had the 60k service last Saturday so lets see if its third time lucky.
Guess thats what happens when you buy a mickey mouse car from a mickey mouse company (well anyone who builds anything in Derby is mickey mouse in my book).
Dont worry to much Arkon I have learnt Aussie time is very similar to Spanish time it will get done one day....but who knows when.
TT

They sent me a text message at 5pm yesterday to remind me that the car should be there at 10:00 am today
They asked if I needed a lift anywhere when I dropped the car off
They rang me at 12.00 to confirm that they were still on schedule for 1pm pick up.
They rang again at 12:45 to say it was ready.
And the price was what they quoted
Back to your question...... I don't have a clue what you are doing wrong

I don't see anything wrong with that scenario.

Where did you live in the UK? I'd really like to know, since it must have been 100% perfect and I wouldn't mind moving there myself for this very reason.
