What the hell am I doing wrong?

Today I had to take the car to a Jeep dealer in Port Macquarie for a manufacturers defect recall, I booked it in 2 weeks ago and so today drove for an hour to visit the service centre. Well guess what there was no mention of my appointment in the books so consequently they didn’t have the parts to do the fix!! WTF is going on here in this shit pot country? The service centre clearly hadn’t bothered to put it in the book so its just cost me over half a day and $25 in fuel. All the centre said was ‘sorry for the inconvenience’!
I’m at my wits end for the answer to how you are supposed to get service or do business here, I’ve learnt a valuable lesson today and that to phone the day before to make sure they know your coming regardless of the fact you might already have arranged something.
Oh and while I was in port on a fools errand I went into Bunnings to get some water buts for the alpacas, and guess what, while I was in the checkout queue an old woman came up to my trolly and took out the 2 large plastic buckets out of trolly, had a feel and then took them to show her husband!!! WTF is going on? She brought them back placed the in the trolly then walked away and didn’t say a word!
Just another day in paradise!!!!

Just wondering why you think this is the fault of this 'shit pot country'? Do you really think things like this don't happen in the UK, or other countries?

What a co-incedence.
I had to take my car to the dealers today, for a service.
They sent me a text message at 5pm yesterday to remind me that the car should be there at 10:00 am today
They asked if I needed a lift anywhere when I dropped the car off
They rang me at 12.00 to confirm that they were still on schedule for 1pm pick up.
They rang again at 12:45 to say it was ready.
And the price was what they quoted
Back to your question...... I don't have a clue what you are doing wrong

Both times turn up, very apologetic. one time had to book for a week later, second time they "fitted me in" but I had to organize a hire car for a day which they had also forgotten, so I stood an hour until that arrived as well.
It's very annoying because of wasted time and money, but they have you over a barrel. If you're not happy, tough s**t when it's servicing or guarantee work.
as for the old lady, I think thats just the devils way of adding salt to the wound
keep smiling, it can only get better.

Your bad vibes are radiating further and further afield, getting there long before you.Hubby works for a big dealership and they are expected to go and fetch the customer, take them shopping (provided they wanted to of course) and then go back to take them back when the service is over.
The old lady can't have realised they were yours surely. I did have one strange guy infront of me at the checkout at Coles once, who saw me put a bottle of Ribena on the belt, he was fascinated by it and we had a five minute chat about the design of the bottle
My girls had to walk away because they were crying laughing so much.
