I too think it is a great idea as the kids who have arrived can chat to the kids not there yet... My kids would use it definitely (9 and 12yo's)

Some good ideas there :) I'll add them to my list :)

Heres a quick snap shot of what the site will look like (very early days though as I only started it yesterday :)

Looks really good to me :thumbsup: Just the kind of thing I've been looking for for my kids, 9 & 8. Would let them look and find out more for themselves.

Good luck with it and looking forward to seeing it up and running!

Thanks guys

Its gonna take a lot of work to get all the content together - and then to decide how to get the 'meet pommy kids' part working.........but I'll get there :)

Hi Wardy

Glad you like it. I'll put as many stories as I'm given up there - as yet I've only had the one volunteer - great job hes done though :)

I'll find out what year Josh is in now - hes 12 though so I would imagine it was from his last year in primary. :)

I've added a discussion forum there now too - at the moment this is still on my TAFE server so it'll change over the next few weeks/months........but if you want to get your kids to try it out........feel free :) Please please please please please monitor your childs use of any forum though - this one especially as its geared towards kids.

Heres the direct link:
