Lovely looking house!! Congratulations and good post. It goes to show that with a little grit you can achieve anything. We arrived the UK with a little under £3K and also nearly went back to South Africa, but stuck it out and eventually bought the house we're in now just over 3 years after being in the UK. Now we are moving to Oz, we are not nearly as daunted because we know it can be done!!
