We have just lodge our TRA form, and are also being sponsored by the state of Victoria on the STNI scheme.
Have you got work to go to when you get there?
Have you any friends or family out there?

hi Adrian and Amanda, We went out there to Melbourne for 6 weeks over Xmas,thats where we wanner be or there abouts.I got a few phone numbers while out there just to ring when the ball really starts Rollin.I reckon it works the same as here really ,you either work for an employer or sub contract on a price. Also i think you need to be in a union or some green card to verify your trade i think.
We haven't got any friends over there but its not put its not putting us off.The natives we spoke to seemed very friendly and helpful.
