Our application has finally been lodged today!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
But can anyone tell us what happens next?

We are hoping to get in on my husbands skilled visa as he is a bricky.

..................and then eventually you get requests for medicals and police checks. You do those and then you wait...............and wait................and wait..............................you see the pattern?

And don't forget the bit about going slowing mad in the process, as well as the obsession with checking forum postings and austimeline.......and checking email every day to see if DIMIA have sent anything.....and watching every tv programme about life down under .......and waiting of course!

have u lodged ur tra or main application .. my husband also a bricklayer our tra took abt 12 weeks .. main app was rcvd in aus on 31 mar not had anything else yet still waiting .. where r u heading

It was are TRA application.We are hopefully going to Melbourne but as to where we haven't got a clue.
Has your husband got a job to go to when you get over there? or any family?Amanda x :o

Hopefully going to Perth .. Anthony has family south Perth and he is in the building trade .. not a bricky but has contacts . said there is loads of work ..
fingers crossed .. hoping to get hear something pretty soon ..

Hi Ade, I'm a brickie to mate, TRA passed and have been sponsored by the state of Victoria on the STNI scheme. We just need to sell our house then put in our application .Having been sponsored will cut down the waiting time in half i hope.
