The Bloke even lectures me as to what food should go in the "crisper drawer" and what should go on which shelf. I leave him to unpack the shopping now as if I do it, he then takes everything out of the fridge and starts again!

Speaking of crisper drawers to a Tupperware fan is actually sacrilidge (SP) Pollyana, they dont work as well as a tupperware "fridgesmart" box.

How the hell am I suposed to sell this $50 lunchbox if you go telling people the drawer at the bottom of the fridge does and always has done the same thing ;) :D

Kala I have been told so many times Tuperware was Aussie that I started to believe it - many thanks for putting the record straight.

Did you say this to the demonstrator?

Do they do Burberry patterned lids for your tuperware - I think that would the latest style for ladies who lunch - chav tupperware!

I am also glad someone else mentioned it - My salad drawer keeps my stuff for weeks. Obviously I have a lot of learning to do - keep up the lessons Kala and if you don't make it as a salesperson for them you can do after dinner speeches for expats on attending the latest party!

Mine too gonna do a thread in a minute on my latest Target bargain :D

Sandra, I really couln't have upset the demonstrator anymore if I tried, being the only one drinking at this party my mouth got a bit carried away, one woman was about to order some measuring spoons and wanted them to have printed on the what size they were ie 1/4 teaspoon, 1/2 teaspoon etc etc but the tupperware ones only have ml on them so I told the woman that they sell the ones with spoon sizes in Supavalu for half the price of the tupperware ones, the look the demonstrator gave me.

I seriously starting to think I might go for a job with tupperware, I'd have such fun selling plastic crap to people who really believe it is fantastic and I'd just be laughing all the way to the bank. I wouldn;t even feel bad about ripping them off as it wouldn;t have been me that made them think it was all fantastic stuff as it is already bred into them.

MMM hope they aren't reading this thread, I could have just blown my chances of a career as a plastic sales person

Kala as the tupperware No 1 Fan please could you host one of the on line parties that tupperware offer?!!!

http://order.tupperware.com/coe/app/...egister_step_1 - I think this might only be a US thing though?

Put me down for the first thing under $5

Having just browsed the site and found they want $25 for a place to store your cooking packets :scared: I use a long plant pot thingy for my rice ones and a cheapy wire thing for the smaller ones.

After looking through the site Kala I honestly think you got away very cheaply - they have saucepans on there for over $250 for one?

A little piece of useless information I picked up at one of the tupperware parties that I was invited to:

The tupperware lettuce corer is plastic becuase if you use a normal metal knife, it makes the lettuce go brown once you've cut it up.

You should also cut it on a plastic cutting board and not the sink drainer...same thing happens!

Hope that helps all you tupperware fans :D

The only piece of tupperware that I really want to buy is the beetroot container. But at $22 it's a bit pricey just to keep my beetroot in!

If people buy over 1000 worth of stuff when I have my party I can get that sausepan for a special host price of $149 which is what I am aiming for :D

I keep all my sauses etc in an old lunchbox that I aquired off my mum when I first moed out of home, I have just checked it and it is a tupperware

OMG they do it here aswell!

We already have cupboards full of it, you open them and it spills out onto the floor. You try and get something out of the cupboard and more falls out.

My wife has recently been to a party and bough more.

I have neem told that it is all good stuff, very useful and has a lifetime guarentee.

I just want to know why we have got so much of it.

I cannot believe that I have just posted on a tupperware thread.

Is there any way I can delete my post?!

I'll be hosting a party next.
