Hi Rach

Honestly....it hurts. But like having babies, you forget about the pain once it's all done and dusted!!

I had one in the same place that you want one. The outline was black, but I wanted purple inside. Took about 1 1/2 hours and I had to sit stock still for the whole time.

Took me about 15 minutes to stop shaking when I walked out of the shop. The adrenaline (sp?) was just pumping through my body. Couldn't even sign my name properly on the cheque!!!

But I'm a sucker for punishment and I want another one done across the top of my shoulders. Have heard there's a great tattooist in Boronia so might pop in next time I'm over there.

Regards

Don't do it.

Tatoos on women are so common.

It's cooler not to have a tat these days.

That's all well and good for the people out there that choose to get tattoos to be "cool"

I personally, don't give a flying fig if anybody thinks I'm cool or not. It took me 8 years to choose what I wanted, and it is very personal to me. I am very happy with my tattoo, thanks

I'm with you. But for a chronic fear of needles, I'd probably be covered in tattoos.

I also waited a long time to get mine. Mine was part of my 40th birthday present to myself.

Yes we had to pay the extra £30 each for Hep C blood test at the huddersfield practice. It all turned out that we didnt need them either ( after having them and paying) it is for oz you need the test and we were off to nz.

As for tatoos hurting my answer would be ... YES LIKE HELL ... like having a blunt knife dragged over your skin :scared:

Stop yelling.

What have you got anyway, a pirate ship in full sail?

It's like everyone has them these days so, literally speaking, yes, they are common.

i had my first tat when i was 35 along with a nip piercing. PMSL that hurt !!

When we went for meds, it did cost extra. Hiv tests etc hep and stuff.

Lady at clinic saw my piercing, and said have you got the other done i said nipple and she said no the you know !!

I said is that relevant to a chest x ray, she said no just being nosey. My husband wants a prince albert. well bugger me she must have been 60 lol

so i lied and said YES i had mine done , she said does it please ur wife ??

I said oh yes she thinks its great when i piss at a 90 degree angle now

She smiled and clicked x ray button, we parted company friends, what a tender moment that was

Take off your cap lock. Upper case looks like shouting and gives people headaches.

BTW had my tattoo as my 40th birthday pressie to me, it's at the top of bum on (very) fat bit and hardly hurt at all.

Not true for me , I have one on my arm.. no extra charges.
All medicals consist of HIV tests, well it is in York anyway.
