I'd suggest that you have a look at the program so that you can plan your day. I know we won't last long.... there's only so many glasses of wine I can drink

I have the in laws coming on Sunday from Yorkshire, Duncs dad used to be in the merchant navy as Chief engineer, now retired he loves boats and ships. We are gonna take him along I think he will really enjoy it. I think Alex will like it too, he loves going to the harbour to look at the boats. And I just love eating the fresh chish and fips that's available down there. I have my appetite back now and am up for eating anything and everything!
yep reckon your father in law will enjoy the festival everyone up here says its well worth going to
Phil sent me some great photos of it, looks like it gets very busy.fish & chips sound good too

hopefully going to go on the Tahune airwalk on the Sunday

You just pay on the day to get in no discount for prebooked tickets. Might be a different Q, Will ask in town if you can get tickets before, We are meeting a couple who have mover over from South West of the UK with their 4 children, Thought get a spot on the grass in a spot and atleast we can leave stuff there while people go for a walk around.

Hope everyone's having fun at the festival!!
Just seen on the UK news all the bush fires in Aus & the news about the heat, train tracks buckling around Melbourne & elderly people not coping in Adelaide!!! How hot is it in Tasmania at the moment? & how hot does it get (max)?

Hiya Kastell, We've just had our highest temperature ever... recorded yesterday. Which was 42.2 degrees celsius! Which is the exception, rather than the rule.
Our temps can range from the low twenties to the mid thirties in mid Summer. But as a general rule, it's usually somewhere in the twenties.
