(True) and isn't that in Africa!!!" Honestly its hilarious and i'm sort of glad they have no idea
as it seems more exclusive to us in the know

I guess some people just cant understand the attraction of Tasmania (good, the less people go there then), but i do get the same reaction when we say Tas, their eyebrows raise as if to say err why there??, get tired of explaining everything it has to offer. Would like my daughter to continue in her gymnastics and my little boy wants to learn rock climbing (hey with all those mountains you never know LOL), wish the whole process was a bit quicker to get there, then you might not have the daily doubts about being selfish etc as well, could just up and go do it now x

People ask me up the school 'where are we emigrating to?' I say 'Tasmania'..........and about 90% of people will reply 'I thought you were going to Australia!!'

I have just discovered another reason to move out of Essex!
We had 3 "santa stop here" signs in our front garden - one that we've had a couple of years and 2 new "personalised" ones for the kids that their Nan bought them this year....
Some thieving git has stolen the "unpersonalised" one today..... Andy reckons it was there this morning - but i've just been out the front and it's gone!
I cannot believe that someone would steal children's xmas decorations (duh, i guess i shouldn't forget i live in England!
)
Not sure i'm going to be able to hold back for another 6 months before putting the house up for sale now......

I loved the photo's you sent, and they just proved the point of Legoland Perth. I bet they try to get into the wrong house! I used to do that with my black ford focus in the UK, they were 10 a penny in the car parks. I'd try my key in the wrong car!!! Did that twice.
If i lived in Perth I'd be trying the wrong house

I've Pm'd the bishops, but don't know how long it will be before they get internet access. I've offered them to use our comp, until they get sorted, given them our phone number etc. So if you speak to them beforehand can you let them know there is a PM waiting for them?

We have xmas lights outside and have nailed them to the house, will take way too long for someone to try to steal them now (hopefully). We can't decide whether to take them to Tas with us though, as they are pretty big, but they are fab in the dark Only 6 days to Christmas......YAY!!!! Be glad when it's all over now so I won't feel guilty anymore for not buying much for my girls.
Managed to get a turkey crown with all the birds being killed from bird flu.......really can't wait to leave this place now
Still waiting for the book on Tas I ordered to arrive......just want to find out all I can before we arrive

I think the hospital we need to live near to is called 'The Royal Hobart Hospital'.......so have up to a 15 mile radius of there to find somewhere to live. We travel about 45 mins to get to the hospital now.......so want to be a bit closer in Tas.
If anyone has any photos of Hobart and surrounding areas that they would be willing to email to me, I would appreciate them hugely

My 11 year old reckons you can see the 'aura lights' in Tas.......the lovely coloured streaks in the sky........is that true?
I would watch them for hours....Beth x x

I remember seeing a couple of the hospitals whilst we were in Hobart and they look quite nice from the outside (and i believe they're of a high standard inside too!)....
