Should be. The thing is, is that every time someone has a whinge here, I think of him and he has it pretty good here - you know? The Aussie dream exists for some. No 2 ways about it. Sure he has a real whinge too and I say, 'mate you think thats bad' etc.
Hes a one in a million and I'm glad I know him. He gave me the best memories of Australia and really got me in to all of it. He STILL continues to give us a good time.
Misconception biggie - yeah the heat 24/7. I feel sorry for the people arriving in Melbourne in the winter with their thongs.

First time I came over we changed planes in Melbourne on the way to Hobart; it was late April, and yes, people were in thongs and shorts, wandering round the airport and saying things like "Do you think we should buy a jumper dear, its a bit chillier than I expected".........some of them then flew onto Hobart, we had snow there on May 1st....poor frozen tourists.....
