...Actually I have three, if you read the post he mentioned money was an issue, indeed if you have the cash then take the kids, if not then it's a fair compromise.

I f you come out for holiday you will have great time and love the place, but thats not the same as living here is it. We live 2 hours south Perth, Bunbury, it is so beautiful here. Denise

I enjoy a bit of risk taking so I did not visit first... must say I am not dissapointed... just ask yourself 'How bad can it be?'

I have read before how some peeps have visited here, there and everywhere in oz and loved it ... did the move and decided they had made a mistake and moved back.
Doing a reccie does not IMO make a scrap of difference, even trying to live as near as pos to everyday life can never be the same as you know you are going home ... and when 9 out of 10 people go home because they miss there family and friends no reccie could be long enough to make you feel this.
All in all you are taking a chance and you either like it, lump it or go home. If you have doubts before the move you need to evaluate your situation ... to me its not that your crazy for not ever having visited its those that go, knowing deep down that they don't really want it but don't want to lose face ????
